Container handlers are heavy forklifts designed to handle containers in ports and container terminals. The heavy forklifts have a specialized container handling attachment that ensures precise picking, lifting and positioning of standard 20’ and 40’ containers. Empty container handlers have capacities of up to 10T and a mast that can lift and stack empty containers up to 9 high. The specialized spreader attachment for empty container lifting attaches to the side of the containers. Empty container sider spreader attachments connect to the container with a twistlock mechanism or with a hook mechanism for double stacking.
